Born out of the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Spotlight Rail Awards began as a series of regional webinars designed to keep the sector connected, inspired, and informed during a time of unprecedented disruption. Following the return of face to face interaction, we turned it into a national celebration, showcasing excellence across UK rail, whilst keeping the webinar series to promote our shortlisted entries to a wider audience.

Drawing on the success of our national Spotlight Rail Awards and the strength of our regional event programme, we’ve introduced three dedicated regional ceremonies to celebrate excellence in the North of England, Scotland, and Wales. These events shine a spotlight on the many individuals, teams and companies who, day by day, are improving lives and strengthening communities.
