About Training Excellence

The future success of the rail industry is underpinned by the need to foster the best talent available, with skills shortages set to escalate significantly in the next few years. This award is for a company that can demonstrate exemplary training initiatives between June 2022 and June 2023.

Judges will be looking for evidence of:

• New and innovative training methods• A healthy workforce cultures• Exemplary apprenticeship and training schemes• Any other ‘stand-out’ performance that merits this award
