Rosie Steevenson
Rosie spent over a decade in the RAF where she served as a front-line Tornado F3 Navigator, a highly qualified instructor and evaluator Navigator.
Initially, she worked under intense pressure on Quick Reaction Alert spending many hours on standby to get airborne to intercept any threats to UK airspace. She then went on to become a highly qualified instructor relishing the opportunity to mentor trainees.
Latterly, Rosie flew missions with test pilots as part of a developmental missile firings team, working in a complex and demanding environment. It was while working in this specialised unit that she became fascinated by human performance and why it is that even the highest-flying teams make mistakes.
After she left the military, Rosie furthered her leadership experience holding the position of Chief Ground Instructor at a major European Airline where she had oversight of all ground school instruction and instructors.
Rosie is now a qualified Crew Resource Management Trainer and provides specialist advice and training in human factors and team skills. She is also a non-executive Director of an Air Ambulance Trust, where she advises at Board Level. Rosie is passionate about improving human performance, especially for those working in high pressure environments and teams. She has spoken internationally with a wide range of industries and organisations to help them develop and improve their professional effectiveness.
Rosie is delighted to team up with Helen; to tell our story and to share our experiences with organisations, using our insights and expertise from working within high-performing teams. We skilfully relate these concepts to broader business and organisational contexts.
