David Denner

David has over 30 years’ experience working in the transport industry, specialising in Lighting and Intelligent Transport Systems. David has worked for various local authorities, consultants and lighting contractors and now leads the technology team at Welsh Government transport. David is passionate on ensuring good lighting for all road users by having the right light, in the right place on for the right time. David also promotes high quality technology solutions that can be used to keep everyone safe. David has been active within the ILP and has presented on a number of related topics and is keen to ensure both the lighting and highway sectors understand each other’s issues. David is the current Chairman of the UK Lighting and Technology Board.
