Principal contractors are the primary contractor and lead on the project and are responsible for working with other contractors to manage the project.  This award is to recognise excellence within either a specific project, or a number of projects involved in throughout the year.

Judges will be looking for evidence of:

• Management of the project which has hit key milestones
• Emphasis on health and safety and that risks have been accounted for
• Any other ‘stand-out’ performance that merits this award
